Melanie Mrus RMT, BHSc
Welcome to Mrus Massage Therapy! I am a registered Massage therapist regulated by the College of Massage Therapy of British Columbia (CMTBC), and I am also a member of the Registered Massage Therapist's Association of British Columbia (RMTBCA).
A little about me? I am an original islander though, I have left to travel and learn throughout the years, but I keep coming back to Nanaimo and home is where the heart is!
My treatment style? I would say my pressure is firm, but always adapting to individual preference. I have recently completed level 1 of the Graston Technique and I am always learning new techniques and treatments of symptoms. Above all else, I always strive to treat my patients in a professional, safe and secure way.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Same day cancellations (No Shows) not related to Covid-19 or unexpected cold/flu symptoms are subject to cancellation fee of $125.00, or the cost of appointment booked.
Cancellation fees cannot be direct billed to your extended benefit plan or ICBC.

Most extended health coverages cover a percentage of Massage Therapy. Some extended healthcare providers require a doctor's referral. Please contact them directly to find out your annual and/or visit allowance.
Health Services BC : We are no longer direct billing for MSP.
RCMP & DVA: We direct bill RCMP and DVA. (Please bring with you your doctor's note for massage therapy.)
ICBC: Yes we can direct bill for ICBC - For now we are accepting only current clients with ICBC claims.
